CBD Doctors Melbourne provides medical consultations by appointment and we also welcome walk-ins. Please note walk-ins will be given the next available appointment.
New Patient? That Doesn’t Mean You Need a Long Appointment. At CBD Doctors Melbourne, appointments are booked based on your health concern and its complexity. Long appointments are not a blanket rule for new patients.
We always book patients in with the doctor of their choosing, however if your doctor is unavailable, we will aim to put you in with the next best suited practitioner.
Extended consultations are also available. If you think you will need more time with your doctor please select an extend consultation as the reason for seeing the doctor.
Telephone and video consultations: new patients and those that haven’t attended our clinic for a face-to-face consultation in the last 12 months will be charged a full consultation fee with no Medicare rebate as set by the Department of Health. Please note: the Doctors do not provide telehealth / video appointments for patients who are overseas.

We know plans can change unexpectedly. If you’re unable to make it, please let us know at least 2 hours before your appointment so we can offer that time to another patient. Cancellations or missed appointments within 2 hours will incur a $45 fee for a standard consultation or $65 for an extended consultation, with no Medicare rebate available.

Please note if you fail to attend your appointment or cancel at least 2 hours prior to your appointment time the following fees apply: standard consultation $40. Extended consultation $60.
Fees are at the Doctor’s discretion and they can charge the consultation differently as the practice provides guidelines only.

New Patient Information
Telephone & Video Consultations
New patients and those that haven’t attended our clinic for a face-to-face consultation in the last 12 months will be charged a full consultation fee and there will be no Medicare rebate. The exemptions are COVID-19 infection and pregnancy-related problems. This is set by the Department of Health.
Parking & Directions
We are near the intersection of Queen Street and Collins Street. Free inner city trams are available along Collins Street, trains to Flinders Street Station and on-street parking is available on Queen St. When driving to your appointment, please allow time for parking as well as your appointment as our CBD parking inspectors are very efficient these days. There are also two car parks located on Flinders Lane; Wilson and Fry's car parks, both within 50 metres of our front door.
Patient Results
We handle your results with care. If you need further treatment the doctor will require you to book a follow up results appointment. If no further treatment is required your results will be emailed to you. Please note only Doctors can discuss your results with you.
Emergencies
We are equipped with some emergency facilitates, however in case of a more acute Emergencies patients seen at CBD Doctors Melbourne are sent on to St Vincent's Hospital at 59 Victoria Parade, Fitzroy VIC 3065 or the Royal Melbourne Hospital Emergency department, Gratan Street, Parkville.
Cancellation Policy
We like to be informed of any cancellations 24 hours prior to your appointment. If you don’t cancel your appointment at least 2 hours prior the scheduled appointment a fail to attend will be charged depending on the appointment type. We know plans can change unexpectedly.
